coComment WordPress Plugin v0.6

The first implementation of my coComment WordPress plugin showed an unpleasant behavior: if you were not logged in to coComment a dialog with a login form popped up. Although nice for promoting coComment, this was pretty annoying. Some research on the coComment site surfaced the solution: as outlined in this blog entry, the solution is to add one more parameter to the needed Javascript. This is done now, and the new version of the plugin ready to download.

    hello David,
I see in your html Code that you added, as mentionned in your post, a script for the toggle.

What do you think, maybe this would be a good idea to have to versions of the plugin, with or without the toggle button? or is it possible to have options with a WP plugin where the WP blog owner could choose, select what he wants to display?

I’m also thinkg to this because we are working on more functionalities for readers and commenters (tags, notifications, send, share with community, rate…) and maybe this would be a great if bloggers could choose what they want on their blog. what do you think?

    Hi Nicolas

You’re absolutely right, the toggle button must be an option. It’ll take me a little more time to implement that nicely and to prepare the grounds for further options. The second option that just occured to me is that the user may select another image for the toggle button (if he wants to display it at all.
